She’s a sarcastic badass who acts arrogantly aloof, but secretly has a heart of gold, and I love how she’s a twist on the Bad Boy trope, only BETTER!Īrlo is a more typical YA protagonist with one foot in both the human and magical societies, feeling like an outcast who doesn’t truly belong anywhere and desperate to prove she’s good enough to join the fae society.
